It all started in junior high art class with papier mache – Linda created a puppet and her interest in hands-on art was born. Fast forward to Greenfield Community College where she assembled a portfolio that caught the eye of Pratt Institute.
After receiving her BFA from Pratt, she stayed in New York City, developing a career in graphics. Returning to Western Massachusetts, she continued to work in advertising, but found it no longer fueled her passion in art.
On a lark, Linda used plastic clay to create jewelry - fun and funky and well-received. It got her doing craft shows (aided by her artistic Aunty Barbara) and meeting customers & other artists, many of whom are friends to this day.
